Kelly's Motel

I like to stay here because it is conveniently located. The rooms are mostly clean and comfortable. I think they need more smoking rooms. And they are priced a little on the high side. It was $75 + $50 Deposit. Of course you most likely will get you deposit back as long as you follow the rules.

It was late at night and I was in a small town with only a few choices and I didn't want to drive 20 or 30 more miles and pay the 60 and up dollars for a room. So I stopped at this little place on US 27 and got the room for 40 dollars after I asked for a better price than the 45 asked, especially thinking that I wasn't going to get much. Well to my surprise, this place was just fine for the money. I would rate as good as any name brand budget motel. The room was clean but very dated but again, for a place to sleep it'll do. The room had a microwave and fridge and the same amenities as a motel 6 or America's best value etc. and even those places don't always provide fridge and micro. The only complaint I have with this place is that the sink and shower drained very slow and check out was 10

my family was in town for 2 days. we were tired so we pd 50.00 per night, but bathrooms nasty mold every where. grout had not been cleaned in sometime doors rotted at the bottom. it was cold out 28 to be exact I asked for another blanket the owner said turn the heat up if that was not enough come back in the morning and get a blanket for the next night, that was unreal. only 1 lock on outside door not real secure wind came thru all around the door holes in the ceiling squares. did I mention there was a microwave and small frig but I can get that anywhere no we wont go back do yourself a favor and stay away just plain dirty.

Not even worth a one-star. SCAM ALERT!! Do not use credit or debit cards here. They told us the credit card machine was down, but they will see if it came back up. She told us no it was still down. We had to pay cash. We didn't have any cash on us so we went somewhere else. When we got home we look at the bank account and they did charge us 86.10. We called them and they told us to bring in a receipt. Not to mention they are very rude.

Would rather give it no stars. Stayed there and after being told $84 we was in the room 32 minutes and the lights flickered and cut completely out along with the air conditioner and when I called the front desk she told me they've never had an issue but she could give me half the money back if I brought the key back and I said NO! It'd be a full refund and she just said bring the key if you want to leave and hung up on me. When I got to the front desk she told me I was there over an hour which was a lie, and id get a half refund only or another room which if the electrical is bad in 1 room why would I switch rooms? Don't want to burn up because it causes a fire while I'm asleep. So we just left.
