Keen Lake Camping Cottage Resort

A group of us (10) have been coming to Keen Lake for quite a few years. We love it! The bathroom and showers are clean. The sites are also well maintained. The activities for the kids are great and so much fun. The lake is beautiful. We hope to continue coming back for years to come. Definitely check it out.

The minute I set foot on this camp ground, I felt peaceful; the cottage I stayed in is practical and spacious. It blended in beautifully with the soothing surroundings of nature's sounds: wildlife flourishing in a lake surrounded by huge trees. The friendly faces of the excellent and thoughtful staff brought me back to my camp memories from childhood. The camp ground has ample activities for families and children, numerous quiet spots to feel serene and happy. Keen Lake Resort is a spa for the mind and soul and will be my favorite vacation spot for many years in the future.

We did a Family & Friends gathering and rented all 10 of the Glamping spots - what a BLAST!!! The 5 Glamping on tents on Glamping Way were command central for meals, games and fireside gatherings. We celebrated Christmas in July and did a White Elephant gift exchange. We went hiking, fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, and canoeing - so many laughs and wonderful memories. You can tell it's a family-owned business as the staff was amazing and they genuinely wanted to make sure you had the best customer service and get-away experience. We will definitely be back - in fact, my husband went back with just the guys 2 months later :). THANK YOU Keen Lake!!!

Unfortunately, after over 25 years, my family and I will no longer be staying at Keen Lake Campground. It has truly changed over the years, especially since the sister‘s retired and the next generation took over. We were there from Sunday until Thursday, paid a lot of money for there not only be no activities for the children, the pool closes at 6 PM (in the Summer ??) And no movies as well. Nothing going on for the children during the week only weekends very disappointing. The store was limited, especially on their hard ice cream choices . I found some of the staff to be rude as well . We did have an incident that was able to be adjusted after an argument ensued. Very very disappointing five days and like the post originally stated Keen Lake will be in the rearview mirror with my family.

Came for a weekend with my wife and we enjoyed it. Staff is friendly and we are looking forward to bringing the kids in the future. Plenty to do from fishing, a beach, dog beach, a small store with all the supplies you’d need. There’s bathrooms and showers too. Some sites are offer electric and some don’t. Lots of options.
