Kasa Wellington South Florida

Not a positive experience. The door code did not work on arrival, and a legion of ants was marching around the kitchen. No one did anything for 36 hours - because god forbid anyone work on a weekend. I had to extend my stay by 4 days, and discovered that the door code was deactivated on the original departure date - and was then locked out of my apartment 3 times. They do not respond to text messages (as advertised)- you have to call in. While the apartment was clean, it's very basic and somewhat shabby - has not been updated. There was a burned out light bulb in the bathroom. The common areas are dirty, a raccoon is eating out of the trash bin next to the front door (which has not been emptied for 5 days), and I would hesitate to leave anything valuable in the apartment itself. We stayed at Kasa Wellington while visiting friends for Thanksgiving. The condo was spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. Everything was impeccably clean. There was coffee, spices, plenty of ice and plenty of towels and toiletries including hair dryers. The Virtual Front desk worked very well. We did not have the time to use the pool or gym unfortunately. We will be back, and I will explore if there are any other properties close to Miami since we visit family there as well!

The unit itself is great. The halls leading to the individual units do not have a great appearance. The floor looks old and not very clean. Generally it’s quiet and it is also dog friendly with dog runs. The washer is very loud.

The place worked out great. We were glad to have a 1st floor unit, as requested, so my elderly Father could come over and see the place.|Very spacious and all necessities included. It did not have a proper coffee maker, just a hot water maker. Other than that, the place worked out.|With people living in the complex year round, it is very busy early in the mornings during the work week.|The pool was great, and close by!|Easy process to check-in and out.

Very clean, light and bright. Only HUGE bummer was the weird steeping contracption instead of a traditional coffee maker (what IS that...?). I amazoned a keurig so I could get through 2 weeks. That said, everything worked perfectly and you can walk to shops and restaurants. It is close to WEF
