From the moment we arrived, it felt special, but on our wedding day it truly came to life. Alea and Ashley are phenomenal. They went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we felt supported every step of the way. I booked my stay at Juniper Lodge - in the Mountaineer Treehouse, as a solo retreat following the passing of my Dad. I needed to put a pause on my life and just escape for a few days, and a treehouse seemed like the perfect place to do that. Plus, my Dad's life long motto was 'Try Everything Once' - and I had never slept in a treehouse before! Ashely + Alea were attentive and thoughtful from our very first interaction, and made me feel like I was a guest at their home. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Ashley who assisted me with my luggage (and I had a lot for a 2 night stay!), offered me a glass of bubbly (which I gladly accepted) and gave me a tour of the Lodge before escorting me to my own private treehouse for the next 2 days! My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary last month. Conveniently located just outside of Denver, we were not far from all the activities, but also enjoyed the quiet and peacefulness around us! The views were spectacular! The lodge was very clean and offered all the amenities of a hotel, but also the personalized attention of a B&B- fresh coffee, s’mores making kits, blankets for sitting by the fire, books to read and games to play. The room was cozy and well stocked! Our hostesses, Alea and Ashley created a 5-star experience and helped make our stay amazing! You can literally feel the passion they have for the the lodge and all their guests. We highly recommend Juniper Lodge and will stay here again!

The ladies are amazing! We have had the honor of staying here multiple times over the 6 years that Juniper House first started. We have had the most romantic stays and will always go back every year ## Rooms The room we stayed in the brand new tree house (the Mountaineer). The room is cozy and has amazing views. The hammock was such a cool thing we went up and watched out the windows. The best part of the room was the seclusion and freedom from the internet and spending time playing games and relaxing. ## Service Ashley and Aleia take great pride in the Juniper House, when we got to the lodge they both greeted us and sat to chat about how we have been doing and we so excited for us to see the new tree houses. Just such a perfect place! My partner and I stayed in the Evergreen room upstairs, and it was perfect for us. The various sitting areas and fireplaces in the lodge are great for a board game and glass of wine. The hosts are such lovely people! It's an easy drive to Golden or Idaho Springs for things to do, and a smooth two hours to Glenwood if you're a hot springs hunter like we are! There are a fair number of stairs, but as long as you're cool with that, this is a wonderful place to stay.
