Island Vista Resort

I am giving them 5 stars because the room was clean, the service was great and the amenities were also great. I will say I also left behind some items with a bag and everything was held for me. The pool, lazy river, hot tubs and kiddie area was very nice. You also have access to the beach and it’s a plus that the beach cabanas are right there. My kids and I had fun. It also smells really nice when you walk in which is a plus because it’s a nice way of being welcomed on your vacation in a subtle way. It was also quiet which was pleasant. The pools open at 7:30AM which is also a plus and they are heated. They also have a wide selection of DVDs for rent which helps when you want to entertain your family and cable isn’t showing anything the kids find interesting. Definitely recommend 😊

A quick 4 night stay, but it was so relaxing to gaze at the ocean. Our suite had full kitchen, laundry, dining/living room and the balcony. The kitchen set up: fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, plates, glasses, silverware, pots, coffee maker. A TV in the living space and the bedroom. An attached parking garage made it simple to unload. We didn't need them but there was a sleeper sofa & a murphy bed also. The staff were friendly & helpful. The 6th floor housekeeper,Lisa, was very helpful when we had questions. Thank you Island Vista for hosting our mini break. PS we went in the off season so it was quiet. But the Island vista has houses across the street ...not bars & clubs!!

We stay at this lovely resort every fall. I think this is our 6th or 7th stay. This visit we were fortunate enough to have a room on the penthouse level. The views were simply amazing. As always, the staff is excellent. We see the same staff every year which speaks volumes for the quality of the work environment. The beautiful suites, the excellent food and wines, the solitude of that beautiful stretch of beach keep us coming back every year. It is the highlight of our year and we can’t wait to return.

Highly recommend! Will be back for certain. Cozy and clean, this resort did NOT disappoint. Very spacious suite with beautiful views and open floor plan.

Me and my wife stayed here on our honeymoon in Dec 2025. Had the perfect time. Was able to use outdoor amenities like the heated outdoor pool and outdoor hottub. Staff was great. Has a great restaurant on-site with bar. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the North Mrytle beach area!!!!!
