Impala Island Inn at Shorebreak Resorts

The Impala Inn is a nice reasonably priced hotel close to the beach/boardwalk. It’s only about a block away from the heart of the boardwalk, which is a major convenience. The hotel has a fairly spacious pool that is a popular space to hangout on a hot summer day. The room itself looked a little outdated, though it was clean and comfortable nevertheless. Considering the area, the prices are quite reasonable. I enjoyed my stay at the Impala and I highly recommend staying here.

This is definately the spot for families. Almost on the boardwalk. Right next to the rides. You can use the shower facilities even after you have checked out. Best bang for your buck! It is a little dated but who spends that much time in their room in the summer? The only downside was the AC unit blows directly onto the person sleeping on the pull out couch - thats if you have the King room with the pool out sofa. We all know pull out sofa beds are uncomfortable to begin with. The King bed was comfortable. I definately would recommend this to family and friends. The also have more updated Condo units to rent if you wanted to spend the money.

The room was so clean. I was really impressed. The staff was super friendly. The boardwalk is walking distance, just a few minutes. The shades are electric. A previous guest probably didn't read the sign because you could tell someone tried to pull it down with their hands Because one was moving slower than the rest🤦‍♀️ overall, This is a great stay and I'd come back.

Read this before you book. This place looks great and is newly renovated. BUT…. Paper thin walls. Not exaggerating. We could’ve joined in the neighbors conversations. Good luck having an intimate moment with your spouse. No WiFi. A “Smart” TV dumbed down with network connection disabled so you can’t use your personal hotspot either. Beds that fold like a taco; leading to achy backs in the morning. If you like coffee in the morning you’re out of luck. No coffee maker. Bring your own

So I was only staying one night. The hotel is right off the boardwalk which was great. The room it self was fine. Nothing special. The room smelled very musty. It was clean I did check the beds. I feel like the rooms should have at least a coffee maker or even a microwave.
