Idle-A-While Motel

We stayed here for 2 nights in early March and had a lovely time. We booked one of the cabins (not the motel room) - it was small with little extra room but had everything we needed and worked perfectly for me, my husband and our dog. The shower was small (but water pressure and temperature were great!) and there is a large step to enter the cabin that may make it difficult for small children or other folks but otherwise we were very pleased. The place is right off the highway but felt safe and it was quiet. There is lots of grass for dog potty breaks and the off leash dog area was very convenient. It’s walkable to everything you need in Twisp, and a short drive to Winthrop for more restaurant and grocery options. It’s the perfect “base camp” for all things outdoor recreation, which is why

We were not ready to end our trip in Chelan, and wandered up north to Twisp. What a wonderful place to find. Family owned and operated. The rooms were rustic but yet we still had everything we needed. From the new spa to the off leash dog park, this is a great find! Liked it so much we stayed an extra night! Kristen, the owner is very sweet and kind! What a great place.

My husband and I came over for the Winthrop Hot Air Balloon Stampede. The motel is older with not many upgrades but very clean. The kitchen offers everything you need to prepare a great meal and the water pressure is great 😊 The staff was very nice and accommodating. Many activities in the area, much to do and see. We would definitely visit again.

This place is so cool especially the cabins. There's even a dog park for your furry friend. The cabins are quaint and cozy and charming. They even gave us a goodie bag for each of our dogs. It was wonderful and we'll surely stay there again.

This was the perfect place to stay during my first visit to Twisp. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. I stayed in a cabin and it was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Each cabin has chairs in front and a picnic table and little porch in the back with a grill. It was such a relaxing atmosphere with the little recreation area behind the building for lawn games and hanging out. I loved my stay and will definitely be back again! Location is great, very close to downtown with places to eat and shop. I stopped by the farmer's market and found so many great handmade items and cool gems.
