We just returned from our first stay at Casia Lodge & Ranch and are already making plans to return next year during the holiday season. What a beautiful and well-run property. We were with a group of friends and everyone's room was uniquely situated and furnished. We stayed in the Tamarack room which is on a corner downstairs, with a wraparound deck overlooking the most peaceful views of the property. There are numerous common spaces to relax and chat. The hotel staff is unobtrusive yet available for every question and need we had. And the food was outstanding - we had dinner in the pub the first evening and in the dining room the second, and the servers were knowledgeable and highly professional. This is an elegant yet very comfortable place to stay in the Methow.

I don’t even know how to begin describing our incredible experience at Casia Lodge!! My friends and I went there for dinner spur of the moment. We got to talking with Kevin, one of the owners, by the fire in their beautiful lobby and he ended up giving us a private tour of the place. They have so lovingly and thoughtfully restored the property, it’s clear how much genuine care has gone into every detail. The food was absolutely spectacular. The chef himself came out and brought us complementary starters off menu that he had just whipped up. The wait staff was just as kind and hospitable as everyone else we met there. My friends and I are all animal lovers and when Debbie, the managing partner, heard this, she offered us a private tour of the stables. We came back the next day and she took

Had such an amazing stay here over winter vacation! Dinner was phenomenal—highlight was the Christmas Eve fixed menu. The cauliflower truffle soup, Citrus smoked fish salad, and steak were to die for! My room was perfectly cozy and made the winter season all the more festive. And service was amazing as well! A small, tight-knit staff where you can tell the well-being of everyone is truly considered—adds to the intimate, familial atmosphere of the place. Would highly recommend staying here for a visit and or booking a table for a special occasion! Can’t wait to come back!

We stayed three nights at Casia Lodge in the first week of December—a quiet period after Thanksgiving and before the winter sports season kicks off. What a gem this place is! The property is beautiful, with breathtaking views, horses in the stable, mule deer grazing in the alfalfa field, and well-maintained walking trails to enjoy it all. With no TV in the guest rooms and no kids on the property, adults can truly get away from it all and relax. What delighted us most was the culinary experience. We had originally planned to dine on-site for only one night, but that changed quickly. After tasting the Wagyu steak tips and short rib sandwich from the happy-hour menu upon check-in, we knew we weren’t going anywhere else. Both meats were incredibly tender and melted in our mouths. I am shocked by the overall rating of this resort given our experience. Upon arrival we were shown to our room with little to no welcoming. Then after settling in learned that our engagement would be ruined by most of the advertised amenities being closed or unavailable. The rooms itself are rundown and have low quality interior for romance. The location is beautiful and relaxing but the overall feel left both of us feeling as though we were an inconvenience to staff. They were hard to find or even have get any kind of help from. Overall was a complete disappointment.
