Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina

The water view and pools are Amazing! The room is cool, nothing spectacular. Headboard was really worn needed some updating but clean. View is great but super small balcony. Doesn't offer waters like other Hyatt properties so bring a water bottle with you to refill. Parking is a walk and fee no valet option. Location is key highlight here. Nice would come again just a older no frills room. Service was good.

We traveled to Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay with my best friend and sister-in-law to celebrate my goddaughter’s 15th birthday — a group of 3 adults and 5 children — and once again, this resort did not disappoint.||||We stayed in a two-bedroom Chesapeake Suite with two queens in one bedroom and a king in the other, plus a spacious living room with a pull-out sofa, dining table, and a full additional bathroom. Having three bathrooms total was a huge plus and made getting everyone ready so much easier. We fit very comfortably, and the table was perfect for family dinners and breakfast in the room.||||Customer service was truly top-notch. The staff surprised us with balloons and a gift bag of snacks in the room for the birthday celebration, which was such a thoughtful touch. This was actually

I typically stay in Hilton brand hotels but wanted to try Hyatt. The facilities were in good shape, clean, and updated. Carpets are starting to show their age, however Christmas decorations were exceptional. The staff were very helpful all around. Major criticism is for the poor quality of abusively overpriced food. We had a large party of 8 adults and discovered the mandatory 20% fee which was comprised of 15% gratuity and 5% large party facility fee. It was very off-putting to be charged an additional fee which we wouldn’t have had if we sat as two tables of four. Our meal including the taxes and mandatory fees was over $700 for very mediocre food. There was no resort type of experience to accompany the exorbitant resort food pricing. This was our family first time here and this place was Beautiful!! We celebrated my husband 70th birthday and when I tell you the staff went above and beyond extra to make sure my husband had an awesome experience. Sean and the front desk blessed us with balloons 🎈 and surprise us with fruit and champagne in our room!! You guys ROCK!! The rooms were nice and spacious and very clean. I highly recommend this place and the food was so good 👍 😋. We will be back soon!!! Thanks again ❤️
