Hyatt Place San Carlos

One of the best experiences with service I’ve had in a long time. Every staff member I met was helpful, friendly and went above to see if I had any current needs. I checked in and out at odd times and was smooth each time. Front desk staff was accommodating with any questions I had. I ate dinner in the attached restaurant and the service again was top notch, the server/bartender was extremely friendly and went above to chat with me while I traveled solo. The offerings were basic but the prices fit the bill and was fast in/out when needed. The highlight of this place for me was the breakfast- fresh, stocked beautifully and attendant was on hand to assist. This was a meal I’d have gladly paid for. Clean property with attentive staff and one of the best breakfast selections among Hyatt Place locations. However, this hotel isn’t ideal for long-term stays since it doesn’t offer suites or rooms with kitchens and large refrigerators. We stayed for six nights and found it comfortable overall, with only minor inconvenience. I did experience a small housekeeping issue, but otherwise, our stay was very pleasant. There are also several nice restaurants within walking distance.

Had a pleasant stay at this new hotel where it is conveniently located with underground parking. Everything exceeded my expectations. Staff is helpful and kind. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower water pressure was strong. Complimentary breakfast was decent with a variety of choices. Will be back.

10/2/2025 We recently stayed at the new Hyatt Place in San Carlos, CA. It is a very nice hotel. Super clean with nice rooms with great showers. The breakfast provided was wonderful with a full selection of breakfast foods and great coffee. We would stay again if we should return to the area. Loved our stay at Hyatt Place San Carlos! The room had that fresh, new-build feel and was spotless. We even had dinner from the market delivered right to our room—such great service. Plus, staying free with points made it even better. Highly recommend!
