Hyatt Place Orlando/Lake Buena Vista

Our three night stay at the Hyatt in Lake Buena Vista was truly a wonderful experience overall. While we did encounter a small bump one evening when our room keys weren’t working, and at times the hotel felt a bit quiet, those minor inconveniences quickly faded thanks to the exceptional service provided by the staff. Johnny, Axel, Jarvis, Destiny, Philip, Freddy and Manuel delivered first class hospitality and consistently went above and beyond to ensure every request was handled with care and professionalism. Their attention and willingness to help made a lasting impression and turned any brief issues into something that felt like a passing storm. Positive: The room was very spacious and clean. Very comfortable and could not hear a lot of outside noise. Negative: The hot breakfast was not as good as other hotel's hot breakfast. A little more effort could have been put forth to make this a good breakfast. Disappointed here.

Location is excellent, Very close to all Disney Parks. They have big size rooms with 2 queen and a bunk bed. It’s very convenient for a larger family. Front desk staff was very polite and friendly. However, they need to train their other employees who work in the kitchen, cleaning and others tasks. ||One of the concerns we had was with their breakfast. The breakfast service was inadequate, as items ran out within 30 minutes and were not replenished. Considering the increased guest occupancy during the holiday season, appropriate planning and staffing should be in place to meet demand. The lack of adjustment in food preparation based on guest volume significantly impacted the overall experience. ||The other issue we had was with their housekeeping services which was very poor. The service of the staffs are terrible except the conceirge staff steve and the other guy, they are nice. We asked for a new kettle because there was hair inside, called them and waited for 40mins. It never arrived so we called again and that night shift staff was saying, oh do you need it now? and when she delivered the kettle the water color was brown like coffee. When I called her back she was so rude saying that we only have those kettles. Also this hotel, they don't give us the key cards. Saying that we need to wait in front of our door and somebody will come to open it for us. We had to wait 25mins for this after a long exausted day at disney. So we had to go to front desk again and asked when is he coming, he didn't even apologize. All the staffs are very unprofessional just doing

I waited several weeks to post this review because I genuinely expected a more positive resolution. I stayed at this location over Thanksgiving weekend 2025. While the location was convenient to Disney and the gentleman working Saturday and Sunday morning was courteous, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. During my stay, a faulty key system locked me out of my room overnight, leaving my personal belongings and medication inaccessible. I was told that neither the manager nor maintenance staff were available until the morning around 7:00 a.m. and that someone would escort me back to my room once they arrived. No one ever came. I ultimately had to return to the front desk and re-explain the situation because the staff member on duty had no prior knowledge of the incident. Wh
