Fast check in at the desk. Rooms are nice and very clean. Pool is decent. Missing the needed hot tub for these cooler nights. Mall is in the same area. Walkable but not made for walking. No sidewalks or trails so walking in the parking lots. Restaurants near by

Hotel is located in a busy area of Ft Myers but there is plenty of shopping and chain restaurants nearby. The parking lot was well lit w/ plenty of parking and and parking was complementary. Our room was about the size of a large hotel room but was sectioned/partially divided so that it felt more like a Jr. Suite. The room was clean, well lit, the A/C worked well, and we had plenty of hot water. The king bed and pillows were VERY soft. If you're used to the new approach to hotel mattresses (ie newish Marriotts/Hiltons) this is in keeping with that. Both of us had a bit of hard time getting comfortable and we woke up several times but neither of us had backaches in the morning. There was a mini-fridge but no microwave. Hospitality truly felt nonexistent during my recent experience. I had to adjust my original stay due to a death in my family. I called ahead of time and was told it would not be a problem. I was not asking for a refund, simply I would check in at a later date. When I arrived at 9 PM on February 18th, I was told I had been marked as a no show and that my room had been oversold. They also kept asking who I spoke to on Monday! Like I was lying. This is 100 percent on the hotel. Being told this after a long day of travel, under difficult personal circumstances, was incredibly upsetting. What made it worse was how it was handled. There was no apology, no empathy, and no real attempt to help find a solution. One employee was even smirking during the interaction, which felt completely inappro

I didn't stay at the hotel, I went to a coin selling event. As for the hotel, I was greeted when I walked in. As for the coin event, their marketing materials don't match what they are actually taking. I wish I hadn't gone. There are a few different other similar events by different companies, they may not all be the same.
