Hampton Inn & Suites Fort Myers-Estero/FGCU

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have had, and it involved a serious safety failure. We were moved through four rooms over approximately 2.5 hours because the hotel repeatedly assigned rooms that were not suitable for occupancy. The most alarming issue was that the front desk issued us keys to a room that was already occupied and we entered. That is a major breakdown in room-status controls and guest safety. It is not a minor mistake. It is a security and privacy incident that should never happen. This is also a frightening situation in Florida, where residents may legally defend themselves if they believe someone has unlawfully entered their dwelling. Positive: The staff was very friendly and helpful. They greeted me and acknowledged and thanked me for being a Hilton Rewards member. The room was clean and the free breakfast was delicious. Negative: I didn't care for the body wash and body lotion provided. The product was substandard and the lotion bottle was empty. Holiday Inn Express provides guests with Dove products, a much better choice.

I was SO disappointed upon arrival after a tiring first day orientation at FGCU. Upon entering the main lobby at the Hampton inn Estero, a strong whiff of perfume or incense greeted me, and made me want to vomit at the same time. It was obvious that the scent was meant to cover up an old, moldy, dog friendly “motel”. The name of the Hampton Inn Estero should be “The Dog Motel”. As I came off the elevator , I found the door to my guest room ajar, the floor dirty (not vacuumed) and it smelled like mold. I proceeded to go to the front desk and stated that I would like another room. The SECOND room I was given smelled like DOG and the bed and pillows were damp & wet. I’m not joking. I am also not a hotel snob - but at this point I got on my iPhone and called the Embassy Suites across the str

We stayed one night here this weekend for a hockey tournament. The location was perfect for Hertz Arena. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. NASA was an extremely helpful, kind, knowledgeable and accommodating employee at the front desk. He made sure we had everything we needed or wanted, even though we only stayed for one night. We will definitely be staying here again!

Staff was great! Beds were weird almost like sleeping on an air mattress lumpy and hard. Breakfast was good but avoid the sausage. They tasted like corn fillers.
