Stayed here for our volleyball tournament. The check-in gal, Kristine, was THE friendliest person ever and a great asset to have at this hotel. Very nice hotel, appears to be a newer hotel. Bummed they did not have a hot tub and the pool was really small. Rooms were also fairly small, in my opinion. They need a few more outlets, especially by the beds along the wall/window so that if two people are in the bed each person can charge their phones while having the phones next to/close to them. The mirrors in the bathroom were set so far back from the sink which was odd. The River Room Bar was nice too.
I stayed here for 5 weeks for work and it has the kitchen suite so you can make breakfast in the morning if you like. The area was quiet the rooms were very clean. The staff were excellent in accommodations. I highly recommend the hotel when staying in the area.
We stayed during an extremely busy weekend, but Courtney at the front desk handled everything professionally and with a great attitude. Even with a full lobby and a lot of guests needing things at once, she stayed patient, calm, and helpful. The hotel was clean, the room was comfortable, and Tony in the 9th floor bar was super friendly and made great drinks. Breakfast was packed in the morning, but staff kept things stocked and moving. Really appreciated how hard everyone was working. Loved the view, my husband and I had a great getaway weekend!
Positive: The room was a good size and I liked the separate sitting area with the couch. The mattress on each bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was good. It was cool to see the river from some windows in the hotel. The lobby was nice. Negative: There were 3 elevators, and 2 of them were out of order for our entire stay. Stairways were not clearly marked and I didn't even know where the stairs were until I asked the staff (this is very dangerous in case of a fire).
The area is new in development and is a bit out of the way because of this, choose the in house lounge and restaurant, we wish we did. The building was a bit intimidating when walking up, after entering it was very cozy and inviting. With small lounge areas scattered in the front.desk area. The desk staff was friendly and helpful explaining the layout of the hotel. The breakfast room was large with plenty of large family size tables. Easy breakfast lines with more than one waffle maker and toaster. Our spacious room was spotless with comfortable, medium soft beds and a large bathroom. I will definitely be going back.
