Hyatt Place Daytona Beach - Oceanfront

Great location, amazing view from balcony. But no chairs out there. Room was fine apart from fridge not working, and air con was noisy and our room was opposite the ice machine which was extremely noisy all night. Room wasn't cleaned at all in a 3 night stay. Breakfast was lovely with a different choice every morning. Didn't use pool but looked clean and tidy.

Overall, it is a nice hotel. It is older but really I guess you’re just there to sleep. We did try to check in at 3:45 and we’re told 4 o’clock means 4 o’clock which I thought was a little odd but I guess that’s their rules.. The breakfast was just fine and overall the staff was very kind.

We had an ocean view room with a balcony. Beautiful way to start the day. Also the rooms where nice and clean. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Also with breakfast included! I highly recommend.

The view was beautiful. The staff at the front desk was awesome. The room smelled a little weird, we got some oder eliminator from the store. The bathroom door didn't close all the way and the water pressure in the shower was weak. The TV had good channels but was an older model so no Netflix or anything. The beds were comfortable. I would stay here again.

This experience did not meet Hyatt’s standards for professionalism or cleanliness. The fitness center was unsanitary, with stained carpeting and no exercise mats available. Guests should not be expected to work out on dirty floors. At check-in, the front desk agent offered no greeting or welcome — only “ID please.” The desk was later left unattended for over 20 minutes while we waited for assistance. Additionally, I reached out four times through the Hyatt text system for important requests and never received a single response. If the service is offered, it should be properly managed. That said, one shorter front desk agent (whose name I did not catch) consistently demonstrated professionalism and warmth. She was a true representation of the Hyatt brand.
