Beachside Hotel

We stayed mid February and here we are again booking our second stay in March. I’m SO glad we decided to try this little hotel. We were worried that it would be in the busy part of Daytona but it is located in South Daytona and it is perfect! We stayed in a ground level room on the pool deck/ocean side and it was so ideal that we booked the same room again. It’s perfect with the kids, easy in and out to enjoy the pool and the beach. The room was clean, breakfast had everything we needed and customer service was on point! Is it bad to say that my ultimate favorite part was the coffee machine? Hahaha, I LOVE all the choices of coffee and how it was 24/7. We also met the owner of the Hotel and he was amazing! Easy walk to som restaurant near by and a CVS pharmacy that has all the snacks neede

Positive: Oceanfront, clean pool, and beach access Negative: We had the city view 2 bedroom. One of the balconies had cigarette butts from previous guests. We advised the front desk & also asked for a new shower curtain in one of the bathrooms bc it had black along the bottom- it was not changed before we left.

This hotel was quiet, staff were helpful and friendly and location was good as there were several restaurants within walking distance. The parking lot is small and it’s a little rough when you turn into it. The swimming pool looked nice and inviting with plenty of lounge chairs surrounding it. After you take the elevator down to the door for pool access there are some beach/pool toys for kids. Pool had good hours for ample swimming time. There is a washer and dryer available for use but, the washer was out of order while we were there. The beds were a bit uncomfortable. I really enjoyed having an ocean view with a balcony to sit and enjoy the crisp sea air.

Fantastic location! Just south enough to be away from the bustle and party atmosphere of Daytona Beach with the beautiful Atlantic Ocean beach right outside! Parking is free and so were the amazing sunrises! The staff members were all very friendly and helpful. And it's a perfect hotel for those travelling with a pet (even has free dog treats in the lobby, and a small dog park near the pool). And who doesn't love that amazing, fresh ground coffee machine offering so many varieties of coffee 24/7!?!|For this being an older building, there may be things that don't match or could use a bit of painting and updating, but the Beachside staff has really tried to think of everything to accommodate guests. With little touches like a small library of borrowable books, to children's beach & pool toys

We stayed at the hotel for one night and had a nice experience overall. The room was clean, spacious, and had two beds for our group of four. The bathroom was great, and we loved having a small table and kitchen with a fridge. We were on the floor with the pool, dog park, and beach access, which was super convenient. The beach was beautiful, and waking up at 6 AM to watch the sunrise was such a wonderful experience if you visit. The only downsides were that the washing machine and the vending machine weren’t working during our stay. They also offer complimentary breakfast, which was a really nice bonus! You can make your own waffles but i enjoyed the corn dogs more 😝
