Hyatt Place Atlanta/Duluth/Johns Creek

Positive: I absolutely love this hotel. The room is so nice and cozy. I love the separate living room section. The beds are comfy and everything is very clean. The staff is kind and sweet. And I love that check out is at 12 pm ! This is my go to place. Negative: We couldn’t control the air. The room got pretty warm at night and we wanted to be cooler but the air didn’t change.

Stayed 3 nights at the Hyatt place recently. Contracted some kind of illness during my stay rendering me with flu like symptoms I believe to have been caused by the dust in the air from the ongoing construction on the hotel. The rooms are fine, they are fairly spacious and have a decent layout. However they aren’t very clean. Room is generally kind of grimy and the walls are quite thin. U can hear everything going on in the hallway and the rooms next to u with the shared doors especially. The towels I was provided had hair presumably from previous guest on them when I first looked at them. The rooms are always an extreme tempature as the ac is very sensitive.Also staff is often absent from the front desk. Or they take several minutes to do simple task. Came here for a 2 night stay, rooms were very clean. Coming back in a week for another stay. Staff was very accommodating. We had an issue with the cable, a great attempt was made to correct it, ( it was a cable company issue not the hotel) and they relocated us with no questions asked.

My stay was 2/7/2026-2/9/2026. First, Mrs. Nan, you were awesome, professional and very knowledgeable. You had me checked in within 5-6 minutes, informed me of the hours for breakfast and kept a smile on your face while doing so. I had a room on the 5th floor. Once you step out of the elevator it looks at if they're repainting certain areas, but the entire hallway was clean and well maintained. The parking lot has plenty of parking and it's free. You're surrounded by plenty of restaurants and you have a lot of stores to shop within 5 minutes of the hotel. The hotel was quite, my room was nice and clean. There was a nice size flat-screen on the wall, and I had a nice 2 night stay. Surprisingly the mattress was firm. Breakfast was sausage, eggs, potatoes, cereal, toast, yogurt, orange and

Stay Anywhere Else! We had a miserable visit here. This is actually a low quality motel. Two of the front desk employees are indifferent and lack people skills. The property appears to be understaffed. The old elevators sound like they are on their last legs. They are doing a remodel but at the core it will not matter much. The towels and washcloths are cheap. The ice machine does not work. There was a smell of cigarettes or something nasty on our floor. And the breakfast is cheap. It does not contain the fresh foods that are shown on the website. The foods are limited and are not fresh. They use cheap utensils, plastic plates and cheap small plastic bowls. The cups are child-size. This place does not meet Hyatt standards.
