Hyatt Place across from Universal Orlando Resort™

We had a wonderful check-in experience thanks to Dawneth James-Henry, the front desk supervisor. She was professional, welcoming, and extremely helpful from the moment we arrived. She kindly upgraded us to a larger room, which made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. Dawneth also took the time to clearly explain the hotel facilities, parking arrangements, and breakfast details, making everything easy and stress-free for us. Her attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly stood out. Thank you, Dawneth, for your outstanding service. You made a great first impression and set the tone for a fantastic stay.

We love a Hyatt Place and this one checked all the boxes! Great room and space, very consistent with a the Hyatt experience we expect. Extremely quiet for it being one of the busiest times of year in the area. Parking and breakfast cost extra which was disappointing but the rate we got for how close we were to Universal parks made up for it. That plus the cleanliness, quality and service level made it a solid value for price paid. Walking distance to Icon Park and several excellent restaurants was a bonus that ensures we will stay there again if visiting Orlando!

Positive: Very clean. All staff is absolutely phenomenal and so polite. Negative: The AC has the motion sensors, which I understand is for energy conservation, but at night the room got a little warm. Had to get up a few times and wave my arms around to activate it to turn on. Lol

Everyone that works here greets you with a smile and ready to assist in every direction. Bryan was able to help get us a room at an affordable rate when we showed up without a reservation. The rooms are clean and the breakfast that comes with the room is perfect for beginning a busy (or low key) day. I would stay here again

This hotel was a great location if you are looking for fun at Universal. I was in town for a work event in Lakeland, FL but wanted to have a little fun and good food at universal Orlando. The staff were very friendly and they comped my parking with a code for making her laugh at check in. The room was nice and spacious and had a wet bar, although, no paper towels or anything (those would have been a nice touch for that area). My only complaint was that there were a lot of teenage cheerleaders on my floor that ran up and down the hallway late into the night. But, that’s not the hotel’s fault and these girls were everywhere, on my flights, the hotel and all over universal. Overall very good stay and I appreciate the staff friendliness and attentiveness.
