Customer Reviews
Fantastic location and a beautiful, clean hotel. Love the suite style rooms. Every staff member we encountered—from valet to front desk, housekeeping, and dining—was incredibly kind, welcoming and above and beyond helpful! The customer service truly blew us away. We hosted a conference here and stayed overnight, and the experience exceeded expectations. We would absolutely do it again!
We stayed four nights over New Year’s Eve with our family and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location in the Historic District is super convenient for walking to restaurants and attractions. The kids enjoyed the pool, though the water was a bit cold. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
We were surprised by the large room that had a small kitchen and sitting area with a couch. The blackout curtain allowed us to sleep in. The location was excellent and we enjoyed drinks at the rooftop bar when we arrived. Making the trip more affordable was the large breakfast that was included. It felt a bit like a large chain hotel (so many small boutique hotels in Charleston with distinct personalities) but this was a great location and super value for the money. We also saw several well behaved dogs so it must be a pet friendly hotel
Positive: Location was great. Breakfasts and rooftop bar were nice. Complimentary happy hour on Wednesday was very nice. Negative: No hot water one day. AC didn?t work properly. Very expensive especially when parking and tax charges were added in. We realize, however, that Charleston is a prime tourist destination.
Our family loved this spot. The location is great for parking when you arrive and not taking your car out again until you leave. There are a ton of shops and restaurants around. Check in was quick, our room was lovely, and it has an indoor pool for the kids to get out their wiggles. We were disappointed with the Pour Restaurant but enjoyed breakfast. There is an attached but unaffiliated restaurant called MESU that was delightful and gives a discount to Hyatt customers.
