Hyatt House Branchburg / Bridgewater

All I can say is wow!!! I was treated with tremendous kindness, hospitality and warmth!! My stay here was for 3 weeks. Bria the sales manager worked with my schedule and was extremely flexible. Molly the front desk needs a major raise or promotion…World of Hyatt she is very valuable employee. The breakfast staff …..top notch with a nice spread and we’re always so friendly. And lastly the housekeeping team were always attentive. I’m so grateful for this entire team of employees. They made my stay very nice. I have done long term stays for the past 3 years and have never felt at home like I did here.

When I booked, I requested a room on the first floor, but was told upon my arrival that there were no clean rooms available on the first floor due to New Year's Eve. That had been over 24 hours prior -- so you're telling me you don't clean your rooms then? I was annoyed, and then the room they gave me had a dead bug in it!

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. I had no complaints until after checking out. I was incorrectly charged a $200 smoking fee. Me and my boyfriend are smokers and we STEPPED OUTSIDE THE HOTEL OVER 30 TIMES during our stay to smoke to make sure we respected the hotel and their rules. After speaking to the front desk manager Ashley about this incorrect charge she explained to me that she had “proof” of me smoking in the hotel and then proceeded to send me pictures of popcorn that I had left on the floor claiming that it is ash. Anyone that smokes knows that ash is grey/black and white. She then refunded me $50 out of the $200 as a curtesy. I AM BEING CHARGED $150 STILL FOR NEVER SMOKING IN THEIR ROOMS. My husband and I had chose this hotel to use for our wedding at a nearby venue because transportation was included in the block, but after the negative experiences we've had, we WOULD NOT RECOMMEND it for other couple getting married in the area. 1. While booking the block, we were told they had reserved the "bridal suite" for me but upon check-in, we found out that it was never coordinated with the front desk and that the suite had already been given away. No one would've mentioned anything had I not recognized that my room number differed from the suite number. We had already given multiple vendors the room number so it caused a lot of confusion the day of my wedding. Time spent trying to relax was spent calling people to make sure everyone and everything got where it was supposed to be.
