Hutchinson Island Resort By Marriott

It was a nice stop on a long road trip home. There is a charming hot tub with a waterfall in the pool area and an easy walkway to the beach. I was pleasantly surprised to find the breakfast area had a proper coffee bar, and I had a nice latte. Best of all there was free charging for my EV. Hats off to all the staff. Pleasant, efficient and not cranky at all.

Very underwhelming to say the least. Room wasn't even ready at 4 o'clock check in. After we did check in the elevator wasn't working so we had to use the stairs. Vent in bathroom didn't work and neither did half the lights. Tiki bar closes at 5 so didn't get to enjoy that. Beach towel hut was also closed. You would think you would at least leave that open for guests checking in wanting to take a dip in the ocean. Restaurant on property also closed super early so had to leave resort to get food. Vending machine only accepted change but then wouldn't return any of it. Breakfast buffet was not worth the 25 a person in my opinion. Just an overall terrible experience. Waste of money. I won't be back.

We planned a quick weekend getaway to enjoy the beach and quiet atmosphere of Stuart. W love this area. It’s a very relaxed and welcoming community. We stayed next door to our family beach house. We chose this location due to the proximity however we expected a bit better. The service is good, Internet WiFi is adequate and the staff is very accommodating and nice. However the toilet was having issues flushing, the room was not as clean as we expected and the condition of the room could have been much better (some wall damage, the toilet seat was not cleaned and the sink still had past guest residue. Too bad because we do love the location. We’ll have to choose the other competitors next time we visit. On a positive note the tiki bar was great (great drinks and helpful bart

Although the view was nice, the room itself was not the best. When we first arrived at the room, the a/c was leaking onto the floor, the faucet in the kitchen barely had water come out when turned on, when we turned the shower on, it took almost 10 minutes of running the water on hot for it to become hot, the shower leaked after being closed. Since the atrium is open, when it rains the water puddles in the walkway and very dangerous, I almost slipped on the wet floor and lastly, when we made the reservation nobody told us that the pool was being renovated and was not open to use. Quite disappointed for the price we paid.

Love this resort! Great service, fantastic location for families, and within minutes of extra things to do like museums and art.
