Hubbard Lake Sands Resort

We rented cabins 3&4 and brought our dog. We couldn't ask for a better week's vacation!! Both cabins were immaculate & the kitchens were very well equipped for cooking. The beach & grounds were perfect, with a dock and plenty of play space for our granddaughter. Karen & Bob were fabulous hosts! Thank you for your hospitality!!

We had #5 cabin with 4 people and it was really nice. The view was waterfront with large yard with many trees and birds. Our cabin had a large deck with good seating and table to relax on. The Cabin was spotless and had everything you'd need for a lake front fishing vacation. It was cute and cozy. The beds comfortable with hand made quilts and working wifi. The shower has great pressure, the water was HOT on demand and overall we were really pleased. The cleaning hut was set up for ease of processing. The owners Bob and Karen were FANTASTIC. Very friendly and engaging. This was our 2nd stay here and we look forward to coming back.

Had the best time. Bob and Karen are the best. The resort is absolutely beautiful there is plenty for families to do. Kids were having fun in the water on the pad during the day and at night either volleyball or playing in the kids playground. At night, we had a community bonfire with some mores and lotta great laughs.

My family’s stay was from July 31st to august 7th. My entire family had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the beautiful lake and nearly every amenity The Sands had to offer. We made great new friends and enjoyed a relaxing, yet activity filled week. The place was very clean. The house was updated and well stocked in the kitchen. Every area of the property was very clean. Karen even takes the time to clean the goose poo from the grassy areas. Bob (an early riser like me) made sure the trash was emptied and the property was ready for the day. My parents and sister have stayed at the resort. They encouraged my family to make our reservation. I have since encouraged my brothers to make reservations for their families to enjoy. In the 40+ years that my family has been going up north together, and between the 3 or 4 different resorts we've stayed at, we've never had an experience this bad. We've been staying at the sands every July since 2009, with almost every cabin occupied, and we absolutely loved it when Gil was the owner. When the new owners Bob and Karen came in, there was definitely a shift in the overall quality of our stay. But these last 2 years were the worst of all. Last year, when my family and I were outside having fun one day, things got a little carried away because we were drinking. It was never intended to happen, as we have always been respectful, weren't loud, and picked up after ourselves. It was a mistake that we understood can't happen again.
