⭐ 1 Star — Serious Health & Safety Concerns My stay at the Howard Vernon Motel raised significant concerns regarding sanitation, maintenance, and overall safety. At check-in, staff were unprofessional and dismissive when basic questions were asked. Attempts to address issues with management during the stay were not handled in a helpful or solution-oriented manner. The property environment made me feel unsafe. There was frequent suspicious activity on and around the premises at various hours, creating an atmosphere that did not feel secure for guests. The room itself was in poor condition. Plumbing fixtures, including the toilet, did not function reliably. Maintenance appeared to be lacking, and the room did not meet reasonable expectations for cleanliness. Cons: I'm sorry this hotel should be inspected for roaches. There was mold in my bathroom, smelled bad when you turn the AC on, The beds were broken, Windows without screens, Broken window, It was not clean when we first walked in the building. There was nothing to do at all I mean nothing just going to the store. Not an ideal place to live with children. Some of the staff was very very rude. Pros: The price was good monthly, some convient stores around, Close by Bus terminal, Doctors.

The motel is clean quiet respectful the employees are friendly and courteous and kind and compassionate and caring and professional they also have studio apartments efficiencies attached to the motel .

This place is super horrible. We hadn't even entered the room and they didn't want to give us our money. It's a waste of time, don't come.

The front desk clerk got us in quickly and easily. The room was pretty spacious and clean. Everything was perfect.
