Absolutely disgusting!! Shouldn’t even be legal to rent a room like this. The mold smell was so strong we couldn’t stay - instant headache. The headboard was gross!!!! The bathroom had long hairs in the shower and mold in the grout. The door that would join to another room..masking tape?!?!? Anytime the bed was sat on..a loud metal boom sound. Would have been impossible to sleep on. Charging north of $250 on valentines weekend. What a dump! Totally ruined my weekend plans as it was so gross we couldn’t stay.
Positive: Good A/C, coffee maker in room. Good TV set, but I prefer Xfinity. The Wi-Fi worked well. Negative: When I used the microwave the TV shut off. Started it afterwards and it was fine but this should be fixed. Need a drain plug for the bath.
Carpet needed to be replaced. Stains and age of carpet made the whole room smell musty. Took almost a whole can of Glade to make the smell livable. Truck stop next door was loud and room was not very soundproof. Cleaning staff could not speak English. Trip was too busy to switch hotels so we toughed it out. Positive aspects were friendly and helpful office staff. I will do better research for the next trip.
Do not go here! You'll regret it. Man at front desk was incredibly rude. The room smelled horrible. I'm not even sure what the smell was, but it was very unpleasant. The rude man at front desk couldn't even get the television to work. If you liked being treated rudely at establishments you are spending your money at, this is the place for you. The rude man refused to give me my money back, even thoughI had been there less than 10 minutes. Despite the financial hit, I'm glad I left. I stayed at a hotel that didn't stink, had courteous staff, and clean shower heads.
Perfect for Night Shifts and Public Transit Explorers As someone working security shifts, I prioritise a hotel where I can actually get good rest during the day. The beds here are comfortable, the staff is incredibly accommodating, and having an on-site washer and dryer is a huge plus for long-term stays. The location is a major highlight. You are surrounded by essentials like Dunkin’ (1-minute walk), Wawa, and the TA Travel Center. Even without a car, I found it very easy to navigate Vero Beach using the public transit system. The Route 13 bus picks up right in front of the hotel and connects to the Indian River Mall. From there, I easily transferred to Route 2 (great for Delta Flight School or the airport) and Route 1, which took me straight to the beaches and Sexton Plaza. breakfast :
