Howard Johnson by Wyndham Blackwood Near Philadelphia

Nice stay at Howard Johnson by Wyndham. The hotel was very nice and clean, and the room was well maintained. The bathroom was spacious, which was a big plus. I especially loved that the room had its own balcony door with a table and chairs it was a perfect spot to relax. The room also included convenient amenities like a mini refrigerator, mini safe, and a large TV, which made the stay comfortable. Breakfast was okay. It was decent, but there were no hot items like eggs, bacon, or sausage available. Does have waffles. Overall, it was still a comfortable and enjoyable stay, the staff members were friendly and I would consider staying again.

I stay at this location often. For an older property, the renovations done are clean, comfortable and a good value for the money. Rooms are large, renovated bathrooms are modern and huge! Location is perfect with access to all of the major highways and a Wawa right next door. The Housekeeping Staff do a great job and the Front Desk Staff are friendly and helpful.

Positive: Nothing at all Negative: They had bed bugs and it was completely ignored. I will be contacting a lawyer for this matter.

We travel from Massachusetts at least 2x a year, always around Thanksgiving, and usually Feb or April when our kids have school break. We have family down here and we ALWAYS choose the Ho-Jo! We usually check in late and its usually the older gentleman who is very nice. And we have to rave about Alison! The breakfast attendant, she is the most pleasant and beautiful soul i have ever met. Always smiling. Always asking about everyone's trips. Always kind. She's the best part of our stays here at Howard Johnson. My 2 kids are always so excited to see her. Give that woman a raise! She's the heart of your mornings there. 🫶🏼♥️

Room was clean. Turns out they have rooms with huge tubs/jacuzzis. Doors were a little sticky and the mattress could probably be refreshed. But it had an encasement which was great to see. Fitness room was bear bones but works. Location is good. Lots of things within walking distance even though it’s a major road.
