Hampton Inn Turnersville (Philadelphia Area)

Our stay was only one night, but we had 2 rooms due to the size of our family. The one room was great but the other one just across the hall had issues with the heater. No matter what temp we set the heater to(we even set it at the lowest setting), it was way too hot. If we turned it off, the strong winds outside blew through it which made the room freezing. **Just to be clear, we never mentioned this to management.** I do want to say though, the gentleman who puts together the breakfast needs a big shout out!! His name is Mike. The reason we booked this hotel was because of another review commenting about the breakfast. 12-7-25, UPDATE: our 3rd day came back to the hotel and they had expired our key cards. Not cool at the end of our day. I never had that happen before at any Hampton. On a better note, this morning I was told we would have scrambled eggs, but instead there was western omelets again, same as 2 days prior. I got talking to Mike, the cook that morning, it was a different person the 2 days prior. He said he had not been informed what was served before his shift, and went in the kitchen cooking me a plate of scrambled eggs. I have NEVER had this kind of service at ANY Hampton we have stayed at. A big part why we settled on only staying at Hamptons was the hot breakfast. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member I enjoy staying at different properties across the Hilton portfolio. This was an overnight stay while I was in the area, and although I had been to this hotel once before, I chose it because it has rooms with whirlpool baths which is good therapy for my back.||The first problem I encountered was a few days before the stay. Although I had booked a premium suite with a whirlpool bath, I received a "complimentary upgrade" . When I looked to see what type of room I was getting with the upgrade, it was a regular room with a king bed, but no whirlpool bath. I had a wonderful stay at this hampton inn. The service was excellent from start to finish. I especially want to highlight the front desk staff—there was a white gentleman working when I checked in who was incredibly helpful and professional. He greeted me warmly, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure my check-in process was smooth and pleasant. His friendly attitude really set the tone for my visit. The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were great. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to others!
