Hotel Zazz

We had a great time at Hotel Zazz! The rooms are decorated funky and fun, and the location is perfect to walk to some great bars and restaurants. We also enjoyed late night drinks at the Speakeasy. The only negative is it's hard to park in the small parking lot but that would not deter me from staying here again. I would highly recommend.

The customer service was initially great upon check in. Since I have been driving cross country I didn’t really have time to check the details about the parking. When arrived I was told parking was booked and I told I could Park in the side street between the convenient store and the hotel. My car got broken into that night or early morning. Now the staff was good at that moment letting me use the room a little longer to figure out what to do and make sure the police report was good a ect. They had a camera on that street facing my car. This is were the customer service falls. Its been over a week of me ask and calling to request the video footage of the incident and I keep getting pushed to the side. Apparently no one know the situation with me getting the footage but the manager and the

I really enjoyed my stay! I love quirky hotels when I travel and this was def it! No offense to men, but it really shows that it's owned by females - we know what we want! The bed was so comfy, the roozy products so sweet, the eclectic drinks were the bomb, and I can't say enough about my visit to Monet's spa!! If I wasn't 8 hours away I would def make this a frequent getaway.

There is a lot to like about Hotel Zazz. It is very funky and a great Nob Hill location. I bet the pool is nice but I was there in November but it was open. Rooms are comfy w eclectic decor and delicious smelling toiletries. 1950s mini fridges are cute and hold creamers for the coffee. The coolest is the little speakeasy lounge-really cool vibe, cocktails, wine, beer snd good music. Bartender Sam was awesome. Also whoever is behind their texts and marketing is very witty-funny little things like a post it pad in the room encouraging you to post a positive hello message. A family w young kids here seemed to have a good time frolicking amongst the giant chess pieces.

To start it all off, we showed up 10 minutes before 3 and they would not check us in because “our room wasn’t ready…” but got a text the morning of saying it was and we could check in early. The check in process will take you about 20 minutes and 90% of it is just random conversation. The rooms are NOT as nice as they look online. Our toilet paper holder was hanging on by a thread, the towel holder on the back of the door was falling out, black mold along the edges of the shower, grout all over the tile floors, if we would have sat in the chair next to the bed, we would have ended up on the floor. Bathrooms are absolutely freezing. I cleaned the shower head for them because it was built up with calcium and had no water. They are also gonna catch you with $12 parking PER NIGHT. Good luck b
