What a great place to stay. Centrally located for everything the family wanted to do. Two went snowboarding in Vail, not a bad drive. One took the local bus to Aspen for the day. Walking distance to the hot springs and Vapor caves and restaurants. The hotel itself- steeped in history. Rooms recently refreshed and updated. Now it is old so it takes a beat for the hot water to come on. The steam heat is great. My suggestion turn on in bathroom only leave bathroom door open and then the room gets warm but not insufferable. Beds were comfortable. Only downside (especially if you have kids) the tv doesn’t have access to Netflix or anything to sign I to streaming. The service was great. Front desk gave us towels to take to the hot springs. The maid staff cleaned our room daily. The restaurant

Came here for the restaurant on a recommendation from another hotel. Food was really good. Bison Rueben was on point. Nice lean slices of corned bison. Good tangy sauerkraut. I also had asparagus as a side. Done perfectly. Couldn't resist getting a piece of cheesecake for desert. Might have to come back just for this. This is how cheesecake is supposed to be. Good and dense. Great flavor. Service from the staff was good too. If you're looking for a really good restaurant, this is definitely a winner.

The service of this place was great but I truly can’t comment much on it because we didn’t need much service. We did check in pretty late, like 1am and called the staff to let them know and the were really receptive. Something weird though, we got a free upgrade in our room. We don’t know why but it wasn’t much of an upgrade to us tbh. We are a couple and were upgraded to have two rooms with one shared bathroom. Why would we need two rooms 😭😂 My theory is that because these rooms share a bathroom, and the bathroom doors do not lock (at least in the room we were in) they just said we could use both rooms 😭 lol Anyways, this hotel is very very old. Like their heating system is old, you gotta wait for the water to get hot type of old, etc. Great if you love history but not if you are high ma

Amazing historic hotel in the middle of everything! Although the rooms are a little dated, the location, ambience and service more than make up for it. Special recognition for Amy and Leyna, who secured outstanding rooms for my copilot and I after we arrived and discovered there was a reservation mix up. These two professionals worked through the issue quickly and with a smile, and got us all checked in and settled. I can’t thank them enough for their warmth and hospitality. The breakfast was a welcome start to our day each morning, and the bar an equally welcome end. 10/10 recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Glenwood Springs!

The hotel was so beautiful inside and out. The employees were all very attentive and let us know where to eat/drink. And the hot springs were just across the street while the vapor caves were about 4 streets away. The room was also very classy and had an old school charm about it. The view out the window faced the hot springs and the town on the other side of the bridge. I am definitely coming back!!!
