FLORADORA HOUSE (formerly Rio Grande B&B)

My boyfriend and I stayed at Ryan and Carrie’s B&B for Christmas, and we could not have had a better experience during our holiday! We didn’t get to meet Carrie, but Ryan truly was an absolute treasure. He went above and beyond for us and ensured our stay was as comfortable as possible — even going out of his way to make sure we had enough breakfast, coffee, and fresh cookies during our stay! We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this B&B if you’re in search of a cozy and relaxing atmosphere with super kind and attentive (but respectful of your space) hosts!

The room and house itself was wonderful. So cozy and comfortable. The suite was perfect for a couples one night stay. The process was so easy and the owners answered all of our questions extremely fast and kindly. I couldnt be happier with the entire experience. |I would highly recommend the gourmet breakfast if it's an option. The gentleman who made our breakfast was so welcoming and lovely. The strawberry french toast he made was TOP NOTCH. Would 100% come back for another stay. Thank you so much for the wonderful time!

My husband and I stayed here for a one night stop through town, since we were going to the Iron Mountain Hot Springs for the evening. Great communication, easy check in. All was as described by their website. Coffee/tea were available all the time, which was welcoming after a long travel day. Our room was upstairs, it was clean and cozy. There were cookies and beverages set out for us. The stairway up would not be friendly for anyone with mobility issues, as it is very narrow and steep. There is a main level room available, though.|The breakfast was delicious. Cooked by Ryan, we had juice, omlettes, roast potatoes, and large dishes of fresh fruit each. It was very attractively presented. We loved it.|Ryan was great to talk with.

Floradora is a quaint little B&B that you will enjoy. Located on a quiet street within walking distance of the downtown area for an easy stroll to dinner or shopping. More enjoyable than a standard hotel chain. If you are an early riser and wanting to depart for your next stop, be prepared that breakfast is not served until 9:00am.

Absolutely incredible! Perfect location and loved the breakfast! Sad there was no full gourmet breakfast on Saturday mornings but it more than made up for it on Sunday! Would highly recommend this BNB as a first choice in Glenwood!
