Hotel Chino Hills

This sorry excuse of a hotel is quite possibly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The ENTIRE hotel is an active construction site, inside and out. All of their amenities were shut down. The place was full of construction equipment everywhere. There were paint fumes, debris, and electrical equipment hanging loose from the ceiling. None of which was shown on the booking website. I checked out early because of how terrible the conditions were. Little did I know I wouldn’t be getting a refund. The people in the front office said I’d be able to get a refund, but after I left and found a new hotel, the manager denied my refund… I’m truly at a loss of words on how they haven’t gotten in serious trouble. Everything was fine till I saw the sofa and its stool all stained with spots. The remodel was pretty well done but the sofas should have been leather and stain free.

I'd give it 0 stars if I could. My wife and I stayed at this hotel the first time, and the room we were given wasn't cleaned. The sheets were disheveled. I asked them to change the room. We brought takeout, and after eating, we noticed the sheets had stains on them. It looked like blood stains that hadn't been washed out. We checked out in less than 30 minutes, and they still charged us the full amount. The cleanliness was terrible!

I make a reservation for two days over Expedia and when I get to the property, the property was under construction, so I decided not to stay in the place because all the amenities as the pool and add any other common areas were close. There was main entry so dusty and a lot of trash of a construction all the way around the main floor, I don’t even take a chance to go to the room, but I told the people at the front table because was not even a desk I won’t take the rooms because they’re on advertise that online that they were under construction. They charge me $525 for two days that I never use and they refuse to refund that money so I think they stealing people

The room was nice enough, but the woman who worked the night of August 16th.. I had a question about how to use their eco-friendly power system (turns out you put your key card in a slot by the door and it powers up the room. But we thought we didn't have power because none of the lights turned on when we walked in) so I called the front desk. I called on my phone first, twice. Then from the hotel room, twice. I walk downstairs and she's not there. I figure she's in the back room, so I call out "hello?" I did this three times before I spotted the bell on the desk. So I ring the bell. Finally she comes out, but it's clear that she's annoyed that I'm there at all. Seems to me she tried really hard to avoid having to do her job.
