Hot Springs Hotel and Spa

I would ONLY recommend 2 hotels in Thermopolis. The other one across the street and is newer and nicer BUT it is double the cost. This one is old but comfortable enough they have hot water with good pressure the towels are nice and cotton sheets and the heater/AC is efficient. I didn't love my mattress tbh, but if they updated the hotel then they'd have to double the price. Refrigerator in room as well as a microwave and small coffee maker. The location is absolutely perfect and the hospitality is amazing Danyell is fabulous. I walked out the front door and took a little jog around the springs (it's alllll right there) and it was a magical. Jogging/walking path along the river to all the sites is right behind the hotel. We have stayed here many times over the years. This time, so much has changed with the room, service, cleanliness, and prices. The room was really dirty- mold around tub, dried mud along the floor in the room, cracked sink, literal patched holes in the walls (unpainted), missing lock on outside door. The price we paid was double (157 a night) of what we have paid many times in the past, but the rooms are so much worse. They have also replaced the beds with cheap rod iron frames with nothing on walls and cheap flooring. The room was very un-inviting on top of being filthy. Breakfast also left a lot to be wanted (especially when you're paying the price we paid per night). The gravy was thin and watered down, no more flavored creamer (which they have always had before this stay), cold breakf

Positive: The staff, who was so helpful and engaging to discuss the art work in the breakfast room. A true asset to the hotel. Also the private hot spring pool was more beneficial the the public spring, also the breakfast. Negative: ""

We just recently checked in that hotel and I just say that their employees are honest and friendly. Why honest, becaus I left my tiny necklace which is very sentimental to me and they hand it over to the lost and found. Kuddos to the housekeeper who have found it, you are admirable and thank you to Miss Daniel of the FD she's such a darling and special thank to Mr. Chad of the front desk also for a wonderful accomodation. I appreciate you all for your kindness and honesty. I will surely come back because of you guys, it feels like home even though you are away from home. This place will make you feel safe and at home. 5 stars for you guys! Gracias!!!!

Great staff who were very helpful, and the hot springs soaking tub was really fun. I've never been to Wyoming, so it was all a delightful experience. I liked that I could benefit from the hot springs without having to go anywhere and could then go directly into their lovely pool. My only beef was with the room itself. We had 2 beds and a nightstand, and one small round wobbly table. The TV was mounted on the wall, so it wasn't sitting on something helpful. The fridge was a very small one, and located on the floor (so you really had to bend over to get to that height) and the microwave was positioned precariously on top of it (microwave was bigger than the fridge) so also very low. If you tried to use the microwave it would lurch to one side and almost fall off. Nothing to hold it t
