Horse Creek Group Campground

This is a nice Forest service campground with 17 sites (I counted). No power and some won’t accommodate a trailer or RV due to size, but most can. A few are creek view, half are creek side and most can hear the water as it’s very quiet - very dark at night too. Wonderful trees and most sites are shaded. Group area has nice fire pit and picnic tables and 2 grills to cook. From the group are is a nice trail to the water too. There are 2 vault toilets and in September they were clean. Also no mosquitos in late September trip. Some sites don’t have a table or fire pit - couple have them a short distance away. Three sites have pull through. Some are level, most aren’t, but slightly off. No signal for Verizon but some ATT had 1-2 bars for cellular and first site on the right was used for decent

Beautiful, quiet place to relax.

This place was great. I was one of the bridesmaids for a friend that reserved this place for a week as part of her adventure wedding. The rangers were very friendly abd the place was well maintained. You'll want good bug spray.
