Frissell Crossing Campground

A beautiful place that will always be close to my family's heart. Many of my childhood memories of camping were created here and I strive for my children to have the same. Would recommend to everyone but i hesitate, people love to ruin beautiful things.😉 P.S love and miss you Neika, may your memorial stone be left in peace for more decades to come.

So I thought I'd be able to access the creek from all campsites and was wrong. Only the one side is accessible. There was no toilet paper after day 1 (I stayed for 3 days) the potable water was a disgusting color and had a funny smell so I didn't trust it. It was a nice quiet campground though and I enjoyed my time there.

Beautiful weekend. Warm days and cool nights. Clear sky's to stargaze. And, of course, mosquitoes!

Amazingly beautiful quiet secluded campground right along the upper south fork of the McKenzie River

Quiet, serene, river. This place is nearly perfect. It has pit toilets, no electricity, and the driveways are not huge. This makes for a more quiet campground. Many sites are large. It is an ideal set up for quiet with the river providing background music. Although it has a water pump, consider bringing your own water or a filter.
