Bear Lake since I was a little kid and took my little kids. Nice spot but no activities nearby -Traverse City or Beulah is closest. Best for peace and quiet and fishin.||Pike, gar, panfish and bass. Caught a 5 pounder in Bear Lake, usually 1-2 pounds.||Good for trolling, still fishing. MI DNR used to stock - been decades since I was there.||I know this property however though has changed hands is a good spot.||Bring own provisions and all else.
DO NOT USE THIS PLACE...This place is a waste...Owner is a criminal. You can look her up online...She had the balls to tell me share the room as someone and will provide cleaning service next day...WF...She needs to be reported to local authorities ASAP..Never invest if you don't know how to manage.
The owners are great people. The lake is clean. There's no garbage floating. The water is blue not that brown mercky water
