Overall hotel experience was great! The positives: - Provides a hot complimentary breakfast along with fruits, cereals, and make your own waffle station where mickey waffle irons are provided since it is close to disney! - The front staff were lovely and I arrived early for check in but was able to get checked in early at no charge. - The rooms are decent, lots of space and they have a kitchenette area complete with fridge, microwave and dishwasher if needed- which helped as I drove down to Walmart/Target and was able to get snacks and fridge essentials. Both walmart and target are a 10 minute drive from this location. - The hotel is located right next to a CVS pharmacy as well as “Bonefish Grill” which is a nice surf/turf restaurant. The main issues I experienced seemed to come down to basic property standards and housekeeping. Most of the walls had noticeable scuffs and marks, and while some wear is understandable, there was grime that could have been cleaned rather than permanent damage requiring repair or repainting. One example was the electrical outlets and surrounding areas, which were visibly dirty and would have been easy to wipe down. Cabinet drawers were neglected and unusable. The shelves had not been cleaned and still had food on them. There was even hair on a door trim. The bathroom fan did not work. Other marks throughout the room could have been improved with routine cleaning. These are not major repairs, just details that were overlooked. I was there for one night for for work. The parking is a bit outrageous. It was $27 to park for the night. Had to scan an QR code and register my vehicle and pay on a webpage. It was just the parking lot in front of the hotel, no valet or anything like that and not included with the room charges. I enjoy staying in suites where I can prepare my own meals. The hotel was in a great location and everything was clean and neat. The front desk staff both in the evening, Jeydimar, and in the morning, Oskar, were very friendly and extremely helpful. I attempted to request a late check out the night before and was informed that I needed to wait until the morning, for availability, and to inquire at the front desk. She took the time to listen, apologized, and provided fair compensation for the issues we had. While I didn’t agree with all of the explanations, I genuinely appreciate her professionalism and the effort she made to correct the situation. Because of her follow-up and how she handled everything, I’m increasing my rating. The stay itself still had problems, but Carla’s response made a meaningful difference.
