Homewood Suites by Hilton Holyoke-Springfield/North

The newly renovated rooms are excellent. The breakfast prepared by Mayra and Alma is by far the best hotel breakfast I have ever had hands down. Hotel staff was always pleasant and smiling. Thank you for an excellent hotel stay experience.

While we usually stay at another hotel on the other side of the mall, we wanted to try Homewood Suites.||While having the suite and extra space is nice, I probably would not choose to stay here again.||The furniture is worn and needs an upgrade. Our room overlooking the highway was noisy with traffic. The bed was lumpy, not very comfortable, and the pillows were very uncomfortable.||The bathroom is in an awkward location, such that if you turn the light on near the sink, it shines into the whole bedroom .||On the plus side - the rooms were clean.

I stay here frequently and am looking forward to the renovation, a freshen up is just what this place needs to be truly outstanding. Don't sleep on the breakfast here, it's excellent! Plenty of interesting toppings, both for the scrambled eggs and potatoes like taco-style chicken, salsa, cheese, crema, and Cholula hot sauce, it's great. As a bonus, when they have chia overnight oats, the other toppings like brown sugar, blueberries and craisins make for a super tasty and filling breakfast! It's one of the reasons (besides the location for me) that keeps me coming back here.

Positive: Large clean room. The addition of a ceiling fan was a surprising and welcome perk of the room I was in Negative: Having to pay for WiFi access seemed a little behind the times, that feels like something that is just expected in a hotel that is $----+ per night

I checked in online so I didn't need to stop at front desk. I'm a Gold member. I should have had 2 water bottles in my room but none were there. Also noticed that there was no ice bucket in the room, nor a bar of soap to wash my hands. Other than that, room was clean. Breakfast was good, the lady working there is very friendly.
