Homewood Suites by Hilton Downers Grove Chicago

When I checked in Josh went above and beyond! He told me about interesting sites to see in the area, was super patient and kind. This will be my hotel of choice moving forward due to his kindness. Thank you Josh, you truly should be the standard for all customer service personnel! Room was clean and nice, reception had great food and the workers were great! Breakfast food was hot and delicious.

Mostly pretty decent! Plenty of parking which was nice as the hotel was clearly full. Stairwell dirty. Common areas clean but bathroom by eating area - 2 of the doors didn't work. Room was quiet and large BUT we had our kids and the sofa bed was not great but not terrible. The fridge was loud so we had to unplug it. Mentioned it on the text asking if everything was ok but never heard back. Free Wednesday night thing was nice. Breakfast was really good though didnt restock on TG so out of a lot of items at the end. Light leaked around bathroom door so it was bright in room with sofa bed. It would have been a løt better for just 2 people. Every staff member was friendly. Room was clean. For a Hilton brand it was just ok, compared to all other brands a bit above average. This is

Positive: Location security & staff Negative: we had no room service for the whole stay. No one to pick up the garbage in the room & in the Bathroom. We had to keep asking the desk for clean towels each night & for paper towels, Kleenex , Toliet paper etc.I

Johnny the bartender is amazing! Super attentive and makes great drinks and great recommendations. Great place to get a decent buzz… crawl right up to your room. Plan on coming back long after we’re checked out of the hotel… we asked, and it’s confirmed we don’t need to be guests to enjoy the great food and great drinks!

Jordan is amazing! I must say, my experience was truly enhanced by the remarkable bartender, Jordan. From the moment I sat at the bar, Jordan’s warm personality and genuine friendliness made me feel right at home. His expertise in crafting delicious cocktails was impressive, but it was his attentive and protective nature that really stood out. He not only ensured that every drink was perfect, but he also made it a point to engage with guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. I've returned to this hotel multiple times, and each visit is made memorable by Jordan's fantastic service.
