Homewood Suites by Hilton Cathedral City Palm Springs

TLDR summary: Location and room quality were below expectations; service was significantly disappointing. We recently stayed at this property and unfortunately were very disappointed, especially given the price point. The hotel is located a bit outside the main Palm Springs area, so keep that in mind when booking. Definitely not walking distance. For the nightly rate, we expected to be closer to the center of town. Upon arrival, there was no one at the front desk and we waited approximately 10 minutes before being assisted. When staff did arrive, the interaction felt curt and unwelcoming. The check-in process came across as more transactional than hospitable, which set an unfortunate tone for the stay. We had a nice 3-week stay. The beer was comfortable. A nice, quiet location with a great mountain view. Convenient to boot downtown and southern Coachella Valley spots. The kitchen was nice when we didn't want to go out after a long day. Housekeeping was a bit erratic about replenishing consumables in the room. We often had to go down to the desk to get something we'd used up. The A/C unit in the bedroom was extremely noisy. When we complained, they did something and it was only very noisy. (The unit in the living/kitchen area was almost silent.) The free breakfast was typical - adequate but neither very tasty or healthy. We had a 2-bedroom suite which was spacious and comfortable. |The mattresses were comfortable and the staff were really nice|and helpful. We had great service and interaction especially with the|operations manager "Li Li" and "Angel."|Overall, the hotel was very clean and quiet. We enjoyed our stay|and would come back again.

During my stay, I encountered several issues that made the experience less than satisfactory. The shower felt like needles and sprayed water everywhere, leaving a mess that required all the towels to clean up. Early the next morning around 6:30 AM, I requested fresh towels. The front desk staff assured me someone would bring them, but no one ever came.When I returned at 5:30 PM, the used towels were still there. I had to go back to the front desk to get new ones myself—something I had already requested earlier. Even then, the dirty towels were simply placed outside the door and were left all day.Additionally, I was surprised to find a $10 daily parking fee and a $350 holding deposit. These charges were not clearly communicated upfront and are significantly higher than what I’ve experienced

Hi Everyone — We stayed in this property for 1 night around end of dec’ 2025 and booked 1 bedroom suite. Overall, we had a decent stay. Property (4/5) : Pretty standard property. Location (4/5) : Slightly isolated from Palm Springs but pretty nice location. View (5/5) : Excellent view if u can take a mountain facing room. Room (4/5) : We booked 1 BHK Suite but it was very small. Overall decent. Breakfast (3.5/5) : free breakfast. Fruits quality and quantity both was not adequate. Team needs to work on this area for sure. Service (5/5) : We got very good service from the team. Starting from front desk to everyone was very helpful and courteous. Kitchen - yes Microwave- yes At summary, decent stay with Great View!
