From the moment I arrived, I felt truly welcomed—almost like visiting family rather than checking into a hotel. The owner is absolutely awesome, warm, and incredibly attentive. You can tell they take real pride in making guests feel at home. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. It’s rare to find a place that’s both charming and impeccably clean, but this hotel delivers on both. The location in the heart of Grand County is perfect, making it easy to explore the area while having a peaceful, cozy place to come back to. If you’re looking for a stay that’s personal, relaxing, and genuinely delightful, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I love this motel. We have stayed three times. Every-time we have spoken with the same guy and he’s super chill and nice. Very dog friendly and just what we are looking for for a one or two night stay near the Rocky Mountains and the sulphur springs. Awesome location near food and a grocery store, and by a few great fishing lakes. Great value also. We will return for years to come.

What can I say about Homestead? WHAT A FIND! I have been staying here a couple times per month every winter for many years so I can work at Granby Ranch on the weekends, as well as the off-seasons for fun and pre-season training. I can't imagine staying elsewhere for the quiet, convenience or amazing prices! Making reservations directly is a quick and simple process with clear communications and confirmation and if changes are needed they are addressed without complications. Upon arrival I have always been well-received with friendly conversation and a quick visit by Ryder (who I believe is the real boss). Cozy place to stay with a gorgeous view of a mountain and great spot for stargazing. We had 2 rooms and both came with a mini fridge and microwave. The owner is very kind and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

The motel mascot licked my face and ate my bacon. She scared away all threats and cuddled my feet when they were chilly. Where it not for this amazing animal I would have been nervous and less at ease. Ryder came right up to me and I scratched her butt and we were fast friends. The proprietor was very helpful and even assisted us with additional needs we have never had cared for at any establishment. Cold beer? Oh yes! We walked to breakfast and the owner even told us where to go for every need we could come up with.
