Homestake Lodge

My niece had her rehearsal party & wedding here Aug. 15 & 16, 2025. Beautiful place & spectacular setting! We didn't stay on-site but I did see the cabin (cottage?) that my sister & brother-in-law had for the weekend & was sorry we didn't make arrangements to stay at least one night. I think most of the wedding party, if not all, were able to stay either in the lodge or the yurts. I'd love to visit in fall or winter. It would be amazing to cross-country ski there!

We LOVED our stay at Homestake Lodge, just wish we could have stayed longer. Amazing hosts, fresh air, mountains, hiking on property, adorable well-equipped cabin. The highlight of our entire ten day vacation was doing a puzzle on the front porch. Highly recommend!

Very friendly and accommodating staff! This place would be excellent for a big family reunion as the lodge must sleep 20 people or more and has plenty of seating for lounging and eating and a huge commercial kitchen. We stayed in the Smith Cabin and it was very comfortable for our family of 5. We had our grown sons take the loft and we stayed on the main floor. It had a washer/dryer but ours didn't work so I used the ones in the lodge, I think we were the only guests on property at the time. The kitchen was not as well furnished as other places we rented and there was no blow dryer but other than that it was awesome. And there are hiking trail heads right there! If I could give 10 stars, I would. I've had the pleasure of visiting during the summer months for the most beautiful wedding venue and winter months to enjoy epic xc skiing. The lodge is gorgeous, the atmosphere feels like home, and I can't speak highly enough of Mark, Lauren, and their family that run the show. Very special people. Homestake Lodge is a gem.

Hi, my son was married over the weekend and everything about Homestake was outstanding. If you are looking for a great environment this is it. Unbelievable location with outstanding service from the staff. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to ski, an event or just hang out. Mark, Lauren and their staff are outstanding.
