Home2 Suites by Hilton Temple

Stayed with family for 6 nights and could not have had a better stay. Rooms were large, well appointed and the property was clean and well kept. Breakfast had a very nice selection that varied each day, which was great. What really made this stay great was the staff. I have stayed in a lot of hotels around the world, and the staff here was probably the most friendly and joyful I think I have encountered. The whole team was just wonderful!

*1/8/26 - Update to my original review* I reached out by phone to a wonderful representative at Hilton Honors who quickly and courteously handled my concerns with this hotel. Interestingly, the hotel manager still has not responded to any of my emails and probably never will. I still would caution anyone about staying at this hotel, but at least my faith in the Hilton brand has been restored. ****************** DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! On the very positive side, the rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and all of the staff at the hotel besides the manager are kind and helpful. However, likely you will not have hot water for your stay (something the hotel knows about but will not tell their guests), and you probably will not have elevators that work. We stayed eight days and only had hot water two of those days. Kim at the front desk was amazing. Were it not for her and her knowledge of resetting the hot water heater, we would not have had hot water at all. We were told we would get a discount. UPDATE: Jennifer is comping us one night. That is a relief. Thank you. Yoli was very friendly at breakfast and always willing to serve and help. Our bed did not have a bedspread on it but instead it had a mattress cover with a sheet on top. We have our family in Temple and thought this was a convenient place to stay. We are rethinking this. Big shout outs to Kim, though. She was great.

I had a really great stay at Home2 Suites. The hotel was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The room was spacious, well laid out, and perfect for both rest and productivity. The staff was welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a smile, which made the experience even better. Breakfast was fresh and convenient, the common areas were well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was calm and inviting. Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and stress free. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend Home2 Suites to anyone looking for a comfortable, reliable, and pleasant place to stay. I’ll absolutely be back.

Positive: Away from highway so it is quieter. Very clean. Awesome staff. Great breakfast. The shower was wonderful. Close to several restaurants in walking distance. Parking lot was well designed and very well maintained. It was easy to roll our suitcases. Negative: The pillows were too flat. The bed was not the most comfortable. It wasn?t the worst we have experienced but definitely could be improved.
