Hollywoods Hotel

When we checked in, the friendly owner said that he recently purchased the motel. It is very outdated, the rooms are small, and the bathroom smaller, but everything is clean. They provide soap, shampoo, lots of towels, hot hot water for a shower, larger size fridge and micro. If you are looking for a very budget room that is clean, this meets those requirements. The bonus; they refreshed the room, changed out towels and made the beds! Never had that at any motel stay in this town! Nice touch.

I'm giving four stars just because it is still in the process of being fixed up. We arrived just a day after the hotel was bought and is now under new management so he is still working on fixing up what the last owner left him. Could use some updates but works well when you're stopping through as we were. Our shower head was broken so I brought it up when we were on our way out to dinner and the owner dropped what he was doing right away to replace the shower head. Would definitely recommend considering how friendly the owner is and the effort he's putting into making the place nicer

Loved our stay there. Bed was well made and clean sheets. Bathroom was clean and odorless. Owner/host was very polite and even recommended a breakfast place which was awesome by the way. 4 stars because feels a bit crowded inside. P.S.- there is no air conditioner but even in July heat it was cool for the night.

Will never stay there again. When we arrived there was no toilet paper in our bathroom. You have to turn the hot water on for 10 minutes to even get warm. The door knob broke off on the inside. We brought it up to the office to have them fix it (and they didnt). That next day we had to call them to even get out of the room! You had to always call to get in the office. Room was ok. Too much furniture for a tiny space.

Motel is outdated but if you looking for cheap and worry free stay it is the place. It is owned by sweet old lady, right across from Shell gas station on the south side of the City. Snowmobile trails are easily accessible.
