Evening Star Motel

Nice motel! Room was clean and smelled like lemons. Our room (2 queen) was more updated looking than photos. Pool was fantastic! Nice and warm. Also not busy which was great. (Wednesday night). Was told there was complementary coffee. Room as microwave/mini fridge.

Had a great 2 night stay. Location was on the main drag and just south of downtown. This is a great old horse shoe styled motel that is very well maintained and clean. My room was updated and spotless. There is no breakfast but a good meal is available across the street. I plan to return in the future with friends.

The Evening Star Motel was a great place to stay on our recent trip to the U.P. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were in great shape and very clean, and the same goes for the pool. We'll definitely be staying here again if we go back to Newberry in the future.

Small and subtle,very quaint and clean place to stay..Staff is hands down wonderful and hardworking and treat their guests with the utmost respect.Will definitely be staying again.This place is also in a great location for gas,food and outdoor activities.

When you arrive at evening star motel you are greeted by friendly staff. We rented the 2 queens and a twin room and the 2 queen room. The rooms are nice and very clean. The beds are comfy. The pool was very nice and comfortable warm. We had to cut our trip short due to power outage. But we would definately go back again. If your looking to stay in a clean room with a pool definately reccommend evening star motel.
