Holly Crest Hotel

They required a 100 cash deposit up front, and no one was available to refund it for me when I left. When I lost my room key, I was told it would cost 10 dollars cash to get a new one. The bedspread was stained and filthy, and the room smelled strongly of cigarettes despite no smoking signs in the hall. The check out time is 11:00, but they de-activated my key at 10:00. I was taking a shower and got locked out of room because of it. It's worth paying a little more to avoid this place.

For a simple airport/venue place to stay they are missing THREE glaringly obvious things for any hotel accommodations. - ONE microwave anywhere in the building, even one. Stunningly basic accommodations. - The hosts HARASSING guests who enter; if one is not given paperwork to sign at check-in that states "no guests", one very much can have friends and family accompany them in or out, or stay with them while on their brief layover or venue visit. And the family who owns this place, turned this into a mutli-lingual issue in front of us an other guests checking-in. It was embarrassing for them. - The shared bathrooms is a choice in hotel accommodations i do not mind when its designed securely. The toilets and shower stalls are in one room for women, and another room for men, on each floor.

The quality matches the price you pay. Right in front of intuit dome and 20 mins walk to SoFi stadium. The location is perfect. There is 24hr Mc right the gas station with convenient store beside the hotel. Nice for short stay after concert. I was fine as a solo foreign girl staying here but wouldn’t recommend any solo women because you might feel uncomfortable. During the day was fine but during the night (I was leaving to airport at 3am) when all the crowds from concert left, the neighborhood is not that safe. You might hear cars honking as well if you was assigned in the room that located in the front area of building. But for this price I’m okay. Restroom is okay as well, you need a keycard to get in. Read terrible reviews, but needed a room near LAX and wanted a good price. Contrary to reviews I read, the room is clean. I knew it would be a shared bathroom when I booked (so just like a hostel.) If you can't handle that don't book! Bathroom is also clean, and sharing it doesn't bother me. Definitely not a fancy, vacation-type place, but just the thing if you need a quick room near the airport.

You get what you pay for. This was so cheap compared to other options, and I wasn't dissatisfied. I found this to be a perfectly acceptable place to spend a night while waiting for my flight the next day. I had the AC running most of the night, so I didn't have any noise issues that I could hear. The bed was decent, and the room and shared bathroom were very clean.
