Studio 6 Suites Los Angeles, CA - Los Angeles - LAX

The room smelled. the night staff (Koko) tried to make me sign documents without reading them and became agitated. One bald headed member, told me is If didn't like it (not reading documents) I should go somewhere else. Morning staff was great. They charge you for parking to stay at their own hotel.

Room was ok quality considering its a motel 6. Pretty secure. shuttle is NOT free! They charge you $10 per person. Maybe worth in some people’s cases, depending on ride shares, but just be aware. They acted like it’s free, which is why we booked the room here.. then they ask you for payment after you walk onto the shuttle. Also, they don’t do shuttle after 10. I booked this because other people said late shuttle was arranged but apparently not for us.

Positive: The room was clean and satisfied the description. The airport shuttle made it convienent for me o travel. Negative: The registration staff did not align with my requests. I did not feel safe in the room where the side by side rooms had easy access to neighboring rooms.

Clean room and bathroom. Although they are very small, no problem at all when you stay there just for one night for transit.

Normally I'm often sceptical about Motel 6 or Studio 6 stays but the LAX location was actually very nice. I stayed here on Jan 22-23 and Jan 31-Feb 2. There's a few things that need detailed attention (make the rooms feel more inviting to be honest) and clarification (such as the shuttle to and from LAX are $10 whereas travel sites like Agoda says it's a FREE shuttle.) I enjoyed my stay regardless, had no complaints whatsoever. I still give it a 4 star for some amenities needing attention but I would absolutely return.
