Holiday Sands North

Great winter stay!!! We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Sands North. The location is great, the pool was amazing, and my little one had the best time. It’s a perfect spot if you’re traveling with kids. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and even though the property is older, everything felt well cared for. I always saw someone cleaning. Also, they take safety precautions seriously if you need someone to walk with you to your car late at night. As a single mom, the area felt safe. We were on a high floor and the balcony felt sturdy and safe, which was important to me as a mom. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely come back. As someone who stays in 4–5 star hotels around the world every week for work, Holiday Sands exceeded our expectations.

Positive: Ocean view. Spacious room with most everything in it..Needed at least an hour later for check out. Requested but, denied Negative: The spread on the bed was too thin with no extra blankets.

Book this hotel at the last second after our Puerto Rico trip got canceled because we couldn't fly into the airspace. We absolutely love this hotel. They made us feel welcome. The front desk was super friendly. Gave us free chairs to use on the beach. We stayed for a week and every day they would give us a bag of towels out by our door in case we needed them. The indoor hot tub pool and lazy River was very nice in January. They're restaurant over at hotel. San South was great. We ate there several times. The prices are very good and the food was delicious. How do you recommend this place? Loved it!

We had a fantastic stay at Holiday Sands North in beautiful Myrtle Beach! This hotel is truly great value for your money. The staff were absolutely amazing — friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and you can’t beat the location. It’s literally footsteps to the beach, which made morning walks and sunset views effortless. Plus, everything you need — restaurants, shops, and attractions — is within walking distance. If you’re planning a trip to Myrtle Beach and want a place that’s affordable, clean, and perfectly located, definitely check them out. We’d happily stay here again!

We took our grandkids here between Christmas and New Year's Day. The location was great since it was on the boardwalk and beach. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the physical condition of the hotel was excellent, especially considering that the facilities are dated. The cleaning/housekeeping and general maintenance were all good. The indoor pools were good for young kids. The restaurant on the 2nd floor was very convenient and had good food at reasonable prices. The kitchen had a full-size refrigerator and we were able to eat breakfast and lunch in the room. Parking was convenient and plentiful since it was during the off-season.
