The next morning we wanted to check out, we went to the reception and to our surprise it was closed, that was at 7:30 AM, we noticed a note at the door that said we will be back in 20 minutes, we waited until 8:00 AM which was a period of 30 minutes but no one was coming back yet, we were in front 20 minutes more than and at 8:25 we started knocking on the door and the bell, a very angry woman came out saying that they need we told her that we wanted to leave the room and she only said, leave the key in front so we told her that we needed the deposit, she said to wait, we made the deposit the cash since they said they did not have card payment methods at the moment. $15O Room $100 Deposit I do not recommend the place, the microwave did not work, in the room there was a personal towel and

I used to stay here when it was a bit shabby, but functional. But quality has slipped and I'll never stay there again.||On my first night of 3 prepaid nights there was no hot water or heat, so in the morning I asked to cancel subsequent nights and be refunded for those. The owner refused, insisting I take a different room where you had to run the water for 15 minutes to get any heat, and there was a wall heater in a little area between the bedroom and bathroom. I declined and lost money because I had to find a place on short notice, but at least I could be warm and clean.

Basic cheap motel, perfect for my needs. Most affordable decent lodging in Grass Valley / Nevada City area. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Fridge, microwave and coffee machine all worked. Room was spotless. Lady at front desk was friendly and informative. Many complaints about hot water. You just have to let shower run for a minute, maybe two, then you will have more than enough heat. Restaurants, groceries and a laundromat all within walking distance. Will stay here again without hesitation.

I am not sure what ppl are complaining about. Beds were comfortable. Customers service: Front desk Punjabi lady was very nice and helpful. Water was hot. It is a motel. Yes something’s are missing, may be more light in the room or more towels but overall nice stay.

I wasn’t expecting much after reading the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised by kind front desk women, clean room, and overall service. I couldn’t hear my neighbors at all, and I was in a clean room with a vinyl flooring and a very comfortable bed (the room was near the smoking area so there were some cigarette smell in the air outside, but it didn’t make it inside). The shower has strong water pressure - although it look long to get warm, but it was VERY warm when it was! The hair dryer didn’t work in our room but I didn’t bother to call the front. Overall happy and will return again. (Call ahead re staying w a dog - we were told extra $60 so we decided not to have our dog in the room)
