Holiday Inn St. Petersburg N- Clearwater by IHG

Quick and efficient late-night checkin by Jon. Much appreciated. Bedding and towels good but in general room could use a deep clean. Fabric chair is quite stained and ledge of counter in bathroom had a serious layer of dust. Microwave clock didn't work not sure if microwave worked. Fridge, coffee maker and air conditioning all good. We did appreciate the tub for a soak after a day of travel. Free parking. Easy access off I-275 from Tampa airport (exit 31). Overall would stay again but lower expectations.

So I called the front desk when I booked this room because I wanted to confirm we would have shuttle. I told the lady we weren't landing until 1030 at night and she said oh just call us and we will come get you. Well we tried and they said the shuttle stopped at 10 so I had to pay 25 bucks for a taxi. Then there was a roach in our bathroom, welcome to Florida! The same lady also told me that breakfast was included in the room and we came downstairs and sure enough it was not included. We waited at the hostess stand and no one was around so we decided to get breakfast somewhere else and this was 8 am so there is no way breakfast was over. At checkout I told them all this and they did nothing to make it right. On the positives the bed was comfortable, the room was dark and quiet. Good enoug

if you’re used to mold, smell inside the wall, then stay here. I open the window to air it out because they have no humidifier or any circulation going on whatsoever. You could tell the property is very old. It smells like mold, wet wall disgusting very strong to the point where I just cannot handle it. The office definitely throw you off from that then soon as you walk into the hallway, it’s just stinks. Very bad your room smells like mildew everywhere. Literally, I didn’t even wanna brush my teeth in there or take a shower. These people must literally get discounts or something to write these reviews. then I stayed there two times in one trip first night they charged me $50 for a deposit in the second night $100 so they’re very money hungry. Patti and Alicia the servers at breakfast and in the tavern have both been EXCELLENT! Above and beyond at every turn and we get truly cared for by them. We had to extend our stay by a day and both of them greeted us excitedly when we came back. The food in the Aviator Tavern is surprisingly good for a small hotel (though they do close somewhat early especially if it’s not busy) The rooms are basic but clean. My only complaint is that the hot tub wasn’t hot and the pool area closes at dusk which is very early in winter.

The room was really outdated with limited access to charge electronics. Drab color in rooms and lighting was odd color. The one positive was the guest services person on duty the evening of the 17th. He was very friendly and accommodating
