Holiday Inn South Plainfield-Piscataway by IHG

I hate reviewing places but this place was so bad I had to leave one because I wouldn’t want anyone to waste their money here. One of the saddest Holiday Inns I’ve ever stayed at. The front desk manager could stand for some training. She attempted to make a very….awkward joke with me and then proceeded to walk away when there was a line of people, and just left the one person at the front desk to handle the guests. I’m sorry but how hard would it have been for her to just help some guests when you see the one person working there is having an issue. Then the phones start ringing and she didn’t do anything, I don’t even know where she went but totally unprofessional. Next the hallways are dark and gloomy. And the rooms…..well one they’re outdated but besides that there was hair on my pillo

We were hesitant about coming at first because of the recent reviews but were so pleasantly surprised! We had car trouble and let the front desk staff know at check-in. She sent hotel maintenance staff to check it out and help us. It was such a kind gesture, as we had a long travel day. If the hotel staff didn't help us, our car would have shut down and we wouldn't make it home. Our room was clean, comfy, and staff top notch!

I have tried many hotels over the world. But I can say this hotel is exceptional. The service level in this hotel similar to 5 stars hotel. I had an issue with my card and the hotel stuff helped me and solved my problem and they were very kind. I would like to say thanks from all my heart to Ms.Rita and Mr.Chris. They really know how to treat the clients and they are super professional. Thank you for such amazing experience guys. Keep it up. All the best

Positive: The staff were all so nice and very professional. I loved the room, channel selections, and location. Negative: The washing machine smelled a little sour so I didn't use it. Maybe the staff could run it empty with soap and bleach.

This was our second time booking same hotel in a month. First time it was ok as we were there for 2 days only but second visit was horriable. Initially when we got the room there was no safe locker in the room so we ask for locker but they rejected and offered another room and other room also had same situation. We stayed 5 days and there was no room service for 3 days. when we called they kept saying due to less staff there is no room service and when we ask for refund they refuse to process refund. also there was water leakage in the room as well which we complained but no one came to check.
