Holiday Inn Santee by IHG

They are in the process of remodeling this property, so some rooms are updated, some not. There were several negative reviews recently, but because we have been here before, we decided to stop. Our room had some newer features, but the furniture was still the older style without USB ports. There were several outlets to plug adapters into , so we managed. Folks at the desk were friendly. We opted to pay ahead for the breakfast coupon and it was worth it. They have cooked-to- order eggs, waffles and breakfast meats. Our server was fast and efficient. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

The Santee, SC Holiday Inn was clean and welcoming, with a very friendly staff. The room was fine, in excellent condition, and everything in it worked. The fitness center was cramped but did have three high-end Precor aerobic machines. The room rate was very low for this caliber hotel, which may reflect in part the lack of a free breakfast. Instead, there is an on-site restaurant, a benefit for travelers like us who just didn't feel like driving again after a long day on the road. The food was just okay, however, and the restaurant needs more professional management.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Santee! From the moment we walked in, the front desk made us feel at home—especially Barbara, who was incredibly warm, patient, and helpful getting us checked in and set up with everything we needed. The rooms we purchased was the two queen suite and it was spacious, clean, and quiet—perfect for the kids to unwind after a long drive. Breakfast the next morning was delicious but we had to purchase for the adults(kids were free). Kids ate good. Something that stood out was when the General Manager Kelly personally came around during breakfast to check on us and other guests. That truly made us feel valued and welcomed. What a lovely pleasant stay! A shout out to managers, Lady and Ashley – they went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. So friendly, so accommodating and just so wonderful! You will not regret booking this hotel☺️

The front desk was kind and polite. Though they are going through renovations of the whole building still accommodating and pleasant. Only reason my room gets a 4 star rating is because there are minor defects here and there but I’m in a yet to be renovated portion of the hotel. Over all a good stay and comfortable mattress as well.
